What We Collect
- Account data you give us when you sign in: your email address, the name you choose, and, if you set one, a password, which we store only as a salted hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, and name. We keep the devices you are signed in on, with their browser, approximate address, and last use, and the applications you connect to your account. Accounts made before we ran our own sign-in may also keep the profile Auth0 sent then, such as a nickname or a profile picture.
- Game content you create: names, descriptions, game code, the images you upload, branding, and each game's version history.
- Technical and operational logs needed for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. These logs may include request identifiers, account identifiers, route and action names, affected game identifiers, status codes, and error details.
- Service metadata related to your content, such as when a record was created or updated and how many times a game has been updated.
- Visit statistics from Google Analytics when you open a page of the website: the page and the address that led you to it, your device, browser, and approximate location, and, where cookies are allowed, identifiers in them that tell visits apart. We do not give it your name, your email address, or your account identifier.
- If you become a Minimo Games Pro member: the identifiers of your Gumroad subscription and of its first payment, the email address you used on Gumroad, whether you pay monthly or yearly, and the subscription's status and dates. Gumroad handles your payment details; we never receive your card.
How We Use Data
- To create, update, publish, and host your games.
- To identify the owner of content and apply access control for games and administrative actions.
- To know which plan your account is on, and to keep it in step with your Minimo Games Pro membership on Gumroad.
- To keep the service secure and working correctly.
- To understand how many people visit the website, which pages and games they open, and where they come from.
- To troubleshoot issues and improve quality over time.
Sharing And Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by trusted service providers needed to run the service, including Resend, which delivers the sign-in codes, account emails, and notices to our administrators that we send, Google, if you choose to sign in with Google, and through Google Analytics, which measures visits to the website, Gumroad, which processes Minimo Games Pro payments under its own privacy policy, and infrastructure providers such as hosting, CDN, logging, and monitoring tools.
Cookies And Analytics
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's storage to remember settings such as the theme and your cookie choice.
Google Analytics runs on the pages of the website. It does not run on the page a game is played on, inside a game itself, or on a game's private preview. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
In the European Union and the rest of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, it sets no cookies unless you accept them. Until you do, or if you decline, it sends Google only cookieless pings about the page you open. Elsewhere it sets its cookies unless you decline them.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every website page, which also removes the cookies it set if you decline. You can also refuse cookies in your browser's settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Using Minimo Games Through An AI Assistant
When you connect an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, it acts on your behalf through Minimo Games's tools, and only after you sign in and allow it. Minimo Games receives the requests the assistant makes to those tools, not your conversation with it.
What the assistant receives back is limited to what the request needs: your games and their files, images, branding, version history, and links, including the private preview address of your own games; the names of the games that use an image; and, only when it asks which account is connected, your display name, nickname, email address, and whether you are an administrator. It never receives your account identifier or other internal identifiers.
The assistant's provider, for example OpenAI for ChatGPT or Anthropic for Claude, processes what it receives under its own privacy policy. You can disconnect the assistant at any time from its settings.
Public Content
Games and author pages are public by design when published. Do not include private or sensitive information inside game content.
Data Retention
We keep your account and your games while your account exists. Deleting a game removes it at once, together with its files, version history, images, and published copy. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and everything in it within 30 days of the request. The exception is the notices we have already emailed to our administrators, which say that an account or a game was created and give the account's email address and name and the game's name: they stay in those mailboxes. Operational logs are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted. Google keeps visit statistics for the period set in our Analytics account. We keep data longer only when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute or security incident that is already open.
Children And Family Use
Parents, teachers, and other adults use Minimo Games to make games that children can play. The service is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are held by adults, who are responsible for supervising how younger creators use it and what they publish.
Your Choices
You can manage game information and game-owned image assets through the authenticated web account. Game deletion is available through supported authenticated agent integrations. On your account page you can change your name, email address, and password, sign out other devices, disconnect applications, and delete your account and everything in it.
