Image editor

Fix a picture yourself in Studio: remove a background, erase, trim, crop, resize, and mirror.

Copy the words under a card and paste them to your AI, replacing anything in [brackets] with your own.

Clean up a picture

For the small flaws image generators leave behind.

Remove background

Makes one color transparent everywhere in the picture, such as the flat color an object was drawn on.

  7. Remove background

Pick the color with the eyedropper, then raise the tolerance until the edges come out clean without eating into the object.

Eraser and magic eraser

The magic eraser erases the patch you click, and only that patch: a stray mark, a leftover label, or a background area the other tool missed. The eraser rubs out what you paint over, with a round brush of the size you choose.

  7. Magic eraser

The magic eraser takes connected areas of similar color, so click once per patch.

Trim margins

Cuts away the empty space around an object, so its size and position in the game match what you see.

  7. Trim margins

Uploads trim transparent margins automatically. Use this for pictures with a solid border color, or to leave some padding on purpose.

Crop

Keeps only the part of the picture you choose.

  7. Crop

To separate several objects in one picture, ask your AI to split it: each one becomes an image of its own.

Size and direction

Change how big a picture is and which way it faces.

Resize

Sets an exact width and height, and whether the picture fits inside, fills, or stretches to them. You can also drag a corner of the picture.

Resize: 1024 × 1024 1024 × 1024

  6. Edit
  7. Resize

A picture much bigger than it appears in the game only makes the game slower to load.

Turn and mirror

Turns the picture a quarter at a time, or mirrors it left to right or upside down, and saves it that way.

  7. Turn and mirror

To flip an object only while the game runs, for a character turning around, ask your AI instead.

Ready for the game

When the picture is right, save it into your game.

Saving your changes

Save replaces the image in your game.

Undo and Redo step through your changes, and nothing is saved until you press Save. If you leave with unsaved changes, Studio asks first. To keep the original and try an idea on a copy, ask your AI for a copy of the image.
